Happy Valentine's Day to us!
So, yes I got a job. My thinking is that since Cole is off for the next few months why not let him stay at home with the kiddos and I will go back to the workforce for the time being. First of all, I am now a math aid for kids in grades 3-5. I have been 'cramming' for the last 24 hours trying to learn how to do 3-5 grade math. But the best part is that today when I left the house I left Gage and Macy puking and having diahrea each every 20 minutes. And no actually I didn't have any 'mommy' feelings of wanting to stay and comfort my children. I was already dressed nice and stayed on the other side of the house from them while I was getting ready to go. I think that if I was leaving them with a sitter I may have had some feelings going on but with Cole-nah. In fact the picture I had in my mind the rest of the day was what was happening as I was leaving. Macy was sitting on a big blanket in the living room with her tupperware bowl in her lap and was watching TV. Gage was standing in the kitchen sink because Cole was cleaning up puke on the kitchen floor while he was asking Gage 'Ah Gage do you stink again?-Buddy I just changed you.' When I got home from work we did the valentines for the kids and they each got a box of chocolates. We kept Gage's wrapped since he was not eating anything all day without disasterous results so when Leif left his on the couch I witnessed Gage run-no sprint-over to the box, rip the lid off and, honestly, throw one into his mouth. For the next 20 minuted Gage spent his time on a kitchen chair with chocolate dribbling down his chin and belly (because he had no clothes left and because it was a big freakin piece of chocolate) and then the next 3 minutes after that throwing his chocolate up into his tupperware bowl. Have you ever just been so hungry?? All are sleeping soundly now atleast until I decide to go to bed then they will be up every 45 minutes. That, right there, is parental knowledge coming out.

dude, that sucks. there is almost nothing worse than having sick kids except maybe being that sick yourself and having to take care of them at the same time-never anyone to care for us. :( that's cool about your job! do you enjoy it so far? how are things? call me
You are so funny! I love that you got a job!!! That's so awesome! And I love that you left without any guilt--- sounds like me:) I knew there was a reason we are friends!! I really enjoy reading your blogs! I wish you would respond and say hey to me though!
Oh man wow. I often think how great it would be if Shad could just live a week in my shoes, doing everything I do, in the way I do them. Go, Cole, and go, Julie for going back to work.
Wow, what a vivid description! Too funny! It looks like everyone is healthy now, from your recent posts. Congratulations on your new job--I hope you have a good time with it! I remember being SO excited in elementary school when I started subtracting double digits.
