Parks and Puppies

We have had a fun couple of days. We found a new park in town that is very shaded. There are also toys at this park that I have never seen before. The times-they are a changin'. We also went over to some friends' house and saw their new puppies. They have two chiuaua dogs, Peanut-butter and Jelly who just had a litter of 5 boys. They are the cutest things EVER! At one point my girlfriend and I were talking in the house and her son was yelling something from outside. Well, we all know that mothers tend to drown out their kids' voices-right?, so we weren't really listening and then she jumped up and ran outside saying "Eli-did you just say the puppy is swimming?" Do you see that pool behind Macy? Well little Eli had put one of the puppies in there and it was actually doing a great job at swimming for it's life but we had to act mad so he wouldn't do it again. It was so funny! Anyway, I haven't been writing as often because, ahemmm, I do I have two jobs and have been working like 60 hours a week, but this is my one day off. We are on our way to swimming. Cole's job has given us membership to a recreation center that has aerobics, gyms, courts, weights, and most of all an awsome swimming pool for the kids. It has a slide and the pool works like a beach. It starts at 1 in. and gets gradually deeper up to about 4 ft. The kids love it and are actually becoming pretty good swimmers. Macy goes under and swims underwater while Leif does more of surface swimming-does that make sense? Maybe I'll take pictures one of these days. They seriously go about 3 times a week usually with Cole because I am working but today I get to join in. FUN TIMES!

Fourth of July!!

We traveled the great 45 minute distance to my sister's house for the celebrations. The kids swam ALL afternoon. Their bellies were so big afterwards that I wonder how there was any water left in the pool. We had BBQ food that made my belly so big that I found out how much meat and corn is my breaking point. Kate got a pinata for the kids and then we left for the park. Does anyone not love holidays like this? Food, family, fun, and fireworks-doesn't get better!

Macy-Moo is a WATER DOG-nothing more to say on that!

Lounging Leif loves looking lazy!

Seeing little Gage ride this razor scooter is so hilarious. He is actually pretty awesome for a 2-year old

Cole does not smile-He just won't!

My little Gager is not happy without a piece of sugar in his mouth. Which leads me to my next subject. I have taken my kids off sugar (This picture proves I am trying my best but still not 100%). I came to the conclusion that sugar made my kids so mad. Not wild mad but hate-mad. They would scream and fight and whine and.....so I have mostly taken them off sugar and it is night and day difference. When they don't eat sugary snacks all day (like they were) they are nicer people and mom needs nicer people or mom will go insane. Which leads me to my next subject-I have gotten a second job. I now work for Macy's (thank you dad!) in the early morning. I have two jobs. If anyone is reading this who knew me in college or high school you might not believe that I even have one but I have two!! What was I saying about going insane?

Leif's First Day of Second Grade

Leif is on year-round school here and he started on Wednesday. His class is small and his teacher seems cute. I hope he makes good friends. That is always hard on moms-wanting their kids to fit in alright and meet people. He is more shy than Macy or Gage but he has never had a hard time before. I mean this is his 4th elementary school and he is only in the second grade-poor guy! Anyway, he loves school and loves going. I am proud of my Leifer!~

Easter Pictures

I know these are a few months late but I found my camera and want to share them because my kids are so darn cute!!!!
